Lorenn & Daniel – The Glades

I little while back I had the great pleasure of being invited to document the wedding day of Lorenn & Daniel. Lorenn got ready at The Glades, along with her bridesmaids, and then afterwards travelled across town to the quaint and idyllic St Margaret’s Chapel at Southport for the ceremony, which was a beautiful service. After some family and group photos we went away for the location shoots, both in the area and at the Glades itself, before we retired to the reception. The bridal party made their entrances with aplomb, each of them doing a number of dance acts and comedy routines which had the guests in stitches. After the bride and groom entered to huge applause everyone set about enjoying the evening, which was everything I’m sure Lorenn and Daniel were hoping it would be. Following some touching and memorable speeches, the bride and groom took to the dance floor for the romantic bridal waltz, watched with appreciative silence by the enraptured guests.

A truly memorable wedding, and an honour to be a part of it. All the best to the newly-weds, and may you have a long and happy life together! Enjoy the photos – many more to come!

Jacky & Peter – Southport

I was fortunate enough to shoot the wedding of Jacky and Peter McPhail recently at the Gold Coast Arts Centre. It was a beautiful location for a wedding, with a quaint chapel overlooking the broadwater, and surrounded by grand old trees – perfect for some nice photos. Jacky got ready at Mantra Legends, and I was able to take some shots of her and her family while they got ready for the ceremony.

It was a very windy day, but the bride and groom took it in their stride. Both of them were lovely people, and I wish them all the best for the future!
